Counselors Are Available

Rape and other acts of sexual assault are crimes of violence.  The fault lies solely with the perpetrator.

Victims of sexual crimes may be haunted by nightmares, in shock, feel numb, frightened, have trouble trusting others, be embarrassed, angry, or overwhelmed with negative memory triggers.

There is hope. Breaking the silence is the first step.  No more hurtful secrets!

Counselors offer encouragement to victims facing the challenges of recovery.  Counseling can help clients regain a sense of control over their lives and move from being victims to survivors.

Counseling is also available to supportive family members and friends.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child victim, please call S.A.F.E. for services.  Counselors offer individual counseling, survivor support group meetings, and family counseling.

S.A.F.E. provides counseling to adults and incest survivors no matter how long ago their violation may have occurred.

Counseling services are available regardless of age, race, gender, or sexual preference.

All of our counseling services are free and confidential!
